The famous Tunisian artist Latifa had launched her newest album “Atahda” (Dare to) in music store just a short while ago. News is spreading fast about the new album mainly in the Gulf countries, because Latifa’s new album has a Khaliji “Gulf countries dialect” touch, specifically a Qatari one.
Latifa had worked with a number of Qatari poets and composers. The main poet she worked with is Al Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani on the song “Wish Ad Indak” (What Do You Have Left). She also worked with Muhammad Al Misfiri on the songs “Ma Yestahel” (Doesn’t Deserve To), Homood Al Shamri on three songs “Mamlooh” (Liked), “Atahda” (Dare To), “Ya Anani” (Selfish) and “Halftakom” (Swear). In addition, Latifa worked with the poet Ali Rashid on the song “Sabarna Yali Masabrana” (Let Me Have Patience).
Latifa worked with a number of Qatari composers as well and they are Isa Al Kibasi, Hasan Hamed, Al Faisal and Matar Ali. It is needless to say that Latifa’s newest album was launched in music store a short while ago and she held a launching celebration in the Emirates. She then went to Beirut to meet with her fans there and after Beirut she had signing ceremony for the new album in Qatar.
