Tunisian singer Latifa filmed her latest music video for “Binus Al Jao,” written by Lebanese artist Ziad Al Rahbani.
The clip, directed by Saed Al Marouq, was filmed in the heart of Beirut and will be aired in the near future along with the release of the album, reported the London based Elaph.
Latifa has not yet settled on a company to produce and distribute the album, but negotiations are underway with ‘Alam El Phan’ and ‘Rotana.’
Latifa’s recently acted with Ziad in the play “Hakm Al Ra’yan” (Rule of the Shepherds), in which she mastered the Lebanese accent to portray her character.
Latifa said she will always be grateful for Ziad’s trust and confidence, and considers the song he composed to be one of the most important. Working with Ziad is like a dream come true, said Latifa.
Recently, Latifa held a special performance for charity under the patronage of her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, sponsored by the Jordan River Foundation.
Latifa thanked Queen Rania for her ongoing efforts to assist charitable organizations. She also thanked the attendees and asked them to sing along with her performance.
Latifa sang a collection of her most popular hits, in addition to special audience requests. After the event Latifa posed for a memorable photo-op with the Queen.
