Syrian actress Karis Bashar is filming a new social and detective television series called “Tahat Al Madas” (Stepped On).
She plays a villager girl that has a brother that treats her badly and forces her to marry someone who works as a smuggler.
According to the London daily Elaph, the series is written by Muhammad Marwan Qawooq and directed by Muhammad Sheikh Najeeb.
The series is produced by the production company “Golden Line” and stars a number of well-known Syrian actors.
