K-drama star Jung Eun-woo dies at 39

ALBAWABA - K-drama star Jung Eun-woo, best known for starring in shows like "Bride of the Sun," has died at the age of 39 on February 11. 

According to the Korea JoongAng Daily, the cause of death remains unknown, but a funeral date has already been set and will take place this Friday at the New Korea Hospital in Gimpo, Gyeonggi.

Jung Eun-woo, whose real name was Jung Dong-jin, first stepped into the K-drama world by appearing in the third season of Sharp, which aired from 2003 to 2006. He later went on to star in other shows such as Bride of the Sun, One Well-Raised Daughter, and The Return of HWANG GEUM BOK!

A day before his death was reported, Jung Eun-woo sparked debate among fans after sharing a cryptic post on Instagram captioned, "Missing, Envious, Regretful." The post also included three photos of himself, the late Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung (who died by suicide), and the late British singer Amy Winehouse(who died from alcohol poisoning).
