Lebanese singer Juana Malah is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album, scheduled for release in July 2005.

The album, produced by the Egyptian record company Fame, features eight songs; two sung in the Lebanese dialect and the other six in the Egyptian.  Juana revealed that “Al Qisa wa ma Fiha” will most likely be the album’s title.

According to the London based Elaph, Juana revealed that she plans on filming a new music video for one of the songs this month, under the direction of either Nadine Libky or Tareq Al Iryan.

“I am very optimistic about the album, since I chose the songs with great care to ensure that they meet listeners expectations,” stated Juana.

The album will mark Juana’s much anticipated return to the music industry after a two-year absence. The singer made a point to return to the scene with a new look and a new style.

Juana explained that the reason her album contains only eight songs is due to the fact that she wanted to concentrate on each song carefully, and could not have done song with a longer score.

Juana revealed that the songs from her album are a mixture of romance, classical and modern to wet the appetite of her fans.
