Music artist Jinni survived a nearly fatal car accident on her way to meet composer Muhammad Rahim.

The two are putting the final touches on her soon to be released second album, “Bayn Eddak” (Between Your Hands), featuring ten songs.

According to the London daily Elaph, Jinni swerved her car off the road to avoid a collision with a speeding truck.  A metal fence prevented her car from plummeting into a canal.  Jinni said the driver might have been drunk because he did not hear the horn of her car moments before the accident.

Jinni’s fourth clip, produced by Muhsin Jaber, will be aired exclusively on Mazika and Zoom satellite music channels. The new clip is called “Arab Liya” (Get Close to Me).

For the first time Jinni appears on the cover of the ‘Egyptian Accident News’ magazine. She gave a long interview to the magazine about a fake newspaper advertisement that included her photograph without her permission.  The advertisement included sexual content.  Jinni was in Dubai hen the photograph was published and filed a lawsuit against the newspaper as soon as she returned to Egypt.
