Famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman just decided to move and live in Egypt on a permanent basis after buying an apartment at Al Ma’adi area in Cairo. Suleiman states that his decision came after he had received many great offers to take part in different works for Egyptian television and cinema.

Sueliman became popular in the Egyptian drama after his major role of Abu Al Dahab in the drama series “Hadaiq Al Shaytan” (The Devil’s Gardens) that was aired on television last Ramadan.

According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, Suleiman makes clear that by next year his family will join him and move from Damascus to Cairo. Suleiman just signed contracts for leading roles in two different movies. He is moving away from Syrian drama and focusing more on Egyptian drama.

Suleiman adds that his role in the new drama series “Awlad Al Lail” (Children of the Night), which is currently being aired on Abu Dhabi channel, will be as successful as that of “Hadaiq Al Shaytan”. The script is written by Samah Al Hariri and produced by Rasha Sharbtji, where this is the first time Sharbtji produces Egyptian drama.

Suleiman has been criticized of being rude and having bad tempers with the series’ cast and crew; however, he has denied all such rumors. He makes clear that he loves the people he works with and that what’s been said about him is only rumors.
