Prominent Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi denied recent circulating rumors of an existence of a love affair between him and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. The rumor was created after the two were seen spending a day together in Sharm El Sheikh swimming and relaxing with a group of friends.

Hussein stressed that a good friendship ties him with Nancy, and she always sings to him when she runs into him accidentally as was the case in Sharm El Sheikh. The actor added that he and Nancy are preparing for an upcoming film, which both have been nominated for. Hussein advised Nancy that she should not make her first cinematic experience be a musical one and should refrain from singing in the film.

Hussein is extremely busy these days taking part in two different works at the same for the small screen. The actor is shooting scenes for the upcoming drama series “Ashab Al Makam Al Rafeeh” (VIPs) in which he plays the role of a very successful and rich businessman.

The businessman falls into several disputes with his brothers, who are greedy to take a share of his wealth at no cost. The second drama he is shooting scenes for is “Ya Ward Meen Yeshtareek” playing the role of a successful lawyer alongside Egyptian prominent actress Samira Ahmad. In the series the lawyer demands that his wife leaves her government job in one of the ministries and stay home to take care of him and his family.

Hussein revealed that he had turned down numerous offers to star in films for the big screen due to the fact that he felt these two roles in the television dramas could not be passed up. He added that they will add much value to his career and is hopeful they will find a lot of success among viewers.

Fahmi revealed the real routs of disputes with some of his colleagues and the events that led to them. Recently, Fahmi had said that Egyptian comedian-actor Adel Imam is a local ambassador for the UN, and then took it back stressing that the matter was a misunderstanding.

Six years ago, Hussein had received a letter form the secretary general of the United Nations, Kofi Anan, telling him that he was chosen to be the UN’s only regional ambassador. So when Adel was chosen he assumed that he was merely a local representative, but as soon as he found out the truth he immediately called Adel and cleared the matter. -Albawaba.com
