Hind Rustom denies ever being a seduction star but rather a prototype for beautiful women

Egyptian legendary actress Hind Rustom is one of the most popular actresses in Egypt and the Arab world, and who had worked with most of the famous directors in the history of Egyptian cinema. 

 

Hind revealed that there are many problems facing today's acting and especially the modern Egyptian cinema. Hind stressed that her opinion of Haifa imitating her role as [Hanouma] in the movie [Bab al-Hadid] Hind said that she does not mind it at all as long as it makes the imitator succeed. 

 

Hind added that she disagrees with director Yousef Shaheen in his stance from new singers and actors. "We should give the chance to everyone if they really want to be the eastern Hollywood. As for the cinema I don’t think we have a professional one, the actors now only care about their wages and how much they charge without looking for the quality of the movies." Hind revealed. 

 

About female comedians Hind said that currently we don’t have any, and the last one who was a successful comedian was Suhair al-Babli. She added that she had many roles during her career where she performed the role of a beautiful woman but not in a vulgar way and that what made her very popular at her time. 

 

According to the London based Elaph, Hind concluded that no one calls her for advice and that might be because of her frankness, adding that she retired at the age of 45 while she was in her full glory because she did not want to run for small parts after being a big star. –Albawaba.com
