Prominent Egyptian singer Hani Shaker has denied circulating rumors that he has signed a contract with the production company Rotana.
The singer stated that Rotana did not make him a worthy offer that matches his accomplishments and talent as a singer. Also, he expressed concern that the company is already overcrowded with singers, and he would not be given his due attention.
Hani announced that he intends on financing the production of his upcoming album himself.
Rotana and Alam El Phan are both eagerly trying to convince Hani for the rights to production; however Hani has shown no interest in dealing with either company.
The singer explained that he broke his cooperation with the production company Alam El Phan because it failed to provide the right advertising campaign for his latest album, resulting in low record sales.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Hani stated that he wants to give production a try, especially after the poor showing from his last album, which only sold 50 thousand original copies.
After this poor showing rumors began circulating that Hani wais seriously thinking of ending his music career, however Hani is holding on, affirming he is still capable of making valuable contributions to the music world.
