Egyptian actress Hanan Turk has begun once more extensive practice in ballet dancing, after having stopped for over five years. Hanan had studied ballet before entering her acting career 14 years ago at one of the Art Institutes in Cairo.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, the secret behind Hanan’s return to ballet is due to the fact that she needs to get back into shape and prepare for her upcoming role as a ballet dancer in the new film (Ballerina) alongside ballet dancer Ahmad Yahia. The film is directed by Khalid Yousef who is a student for the internationally well-known director Yousef Shahin.
Recently, director of the upcoming film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk) Ali Idrees had stopped the shooting of the scenes due to the hair color of Egyptian actress Hanan Turk. Hanan was forced to change the color of her hair to brown for another film “Ahla Al Awkat” (The Best of Times), which she is taking part in. Ali decided that they will resume shooting scenes after Hanan has completed shooting the scenes for her other film and has returned her hair color to black for her role in his film. In Kalam Fil Hub, Hanan costars alongside prominent Egyptian actress Yusra and actor Hisham Salim.
Turk is also in the process of shooting the first scenes of her upcoming TV drama series “Shahad”, in which she will be playing her first leading role ever on television. The story of the series tackles the issue of the spread revenge in certain areas in Egypt go to extremes and how people.
Hanan plays the role of a young lady from Al Saeed (one of Egypt’s suburbs) who falls in love with a young man, but they face many obstacles from their families due to the fact that they are foes. The continuance of their parents' rage did not stop the couple from eventually getting married.
