In a shocking move, young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha has returned to the set of the film “Ghawi Hubb” starring Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad, after withdrawing from it last month. The actress revealed that a misunderstanding had occurred between her and the makers of the film, but all problems were dissolved and she will once again act alongside Foad.
According to the London based Elaph, a special ceremony was held in celebration of Hala’s return by the film crew. Hala refused to give exact details regarding the nature of the misunderstanding and revealed that the producers had finally agreed to some of her conditions when they failed to find a replacement for her.
The new film “Ghawi Hubb” had been going through endless obstacles making the singer lose hope in it ever being completed. First the film has been delayed several times for different reasons to be followed by the unfortunate incidents of the apology of the producer Majdi Al Huwari from being unable to produce the film and the withdrawal of director Mohammad Kamal Al Shinawi due the constant interference of Foad in all the details of the film.
The biggest blow that hit the film and its lead actor, Mohammad, was the sudden withdrawal of Hala, who stopped coming to the filming scenes and had closed her mobile phone making her unreachable.
Hala had justified her withdrawal from the film as being a result of the pulling out of the director, who wanted to make some alterations to the script making her part of more importance. Foad refused the alterations to the script in turn making Hala’s role in the film a mere secondary one, a matter the actress rejected.
The movie, which is to be filmed in Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh, revolves mainly around Hala and Mohammad who fall in love but encounter several obstacles in their way. Mohammad is supposed to sing three different songs for Hala in the film.
