Young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha and her sisters are currently in mourning over the death of their grandmother. Hala was very close to her grandmother that the news of her death hit her strong and threw her in a state of extreme sadness.

According to the Egyptian based weekly, Al Nogoom, upon hearing the news, Hala and her father along with her sisters headed off to Alexandria, where her grandmother lived, to attend the memorial service.

Young Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Sakka denied circulating rumors over the existence of a dispute between him and Hala, over the latter’s withdrawal from the leading role in his upcoming “The Italian War”.

It was rumored that Hala had turned down Ahmad’s offer for the role and accepted another with Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad in his upcoming film “Ghawi Hubb”, which she had recently backed out of as well. Ahmad stressed that he never even nominated Hala for the role and the only actress he chose for the part was Nelly Kareem, who had accepted the role without hesitation.

The new film “Ghawi Hubb” for Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad seems to be going through endless obstacles making the singer lose hope in it ever being completed. First the film has been delayed several times for different reasons to be followed by the unfortunate incidents of the apology of the producer Majdi Al Huwari from being unable to produce the film and the withdrawal of director Mohammad Kamal Al Shinawi due the constant interference of Foad in all the details of the film.

The biggest blow that has hit the film and its lead actor, Mohammad Foad, is the sudden withdrawal of the leading actress Hala Shiha, who stopped coming to the filming scenes and had closed her mobile phone making her unreachable.

Hala justified her withdrawal from the film as being a result of the pulling out of the director, who wanted to make some alterations to the script making her part of more importance. Foad refused the alterations to the script in turn making Hala’s role in the film a mere secondary one, a matter the actress rejected.
