Egyptian singer Hakim has announced in a press conference held in Doha-Qatar that he has reached an agreement for a duet with US pop singer Brian Adams. Hakim has also agreed with Latino pop singer Paulina Rubio for a duet and is currently in negotiation to hold a third duet with US pop star Janet Jackson.
According to news sources, Hakim held previous negotiations with singer Latoia Jackson for a duet but nothing came of it. The singer is currently preparing to go on a European tour this April. The tour will take him to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Greece, and finally to France. After his European tour, Hakim will return to Egypt to complete the final scenes for his first film “Hasan Safari”.
Hakim will go on the tour despite his previous decision to dedicate his time completely to work on the film, which will mark the beginning of his acting career.
On a different note, Hakim's first wife filed for divorce in November 2002, following her husband's act of betrayal with his so-called second wife. Marwa expressed resentment to her husband's 'unbearable' acts, which started a year ago with his frequent absence from home. Hakim had assaulted his wife in a furnished apartment at the upscale neighborhood of Azzamalek, as she walked in on him and his secretary whilst 'in the act', which he later claimed to be his second wife. – Albawaba.com
