With her sexy style and scandalous lyrics, Haifa Wehbe has never been in the Muslim Brotherhood's good books. But with a high profile divorce from an Egyptian businessman, said to be the group's ally, things might be about to get a lot worse for the Lebanese pop princess in Egypt.

According to UAE newspaper, 'Al Etihad', The Egyptian minister of information, Mr. Salah Abdel Maqsoud, has verbally agreed to ban Haifa from any state-run broadcasting network, both on TV and radio.

Two weeks ago, the Lebanese songstress announced her divorce from Ahmad Abu Hashimeh and since then the rumor mill hasn't stopped revolving. According to reports in the Arabic media, Ahmad was getting friendly with the Muslim Brotherhood just prior to the split, which they had a hand in orchestrating.

Then last week Haifa's ex-hubby threatened to sue an Egyptian newspaper that claimed the Brotherhood had helped pay for his divorce settlement.
