Even celebrities are getting the challenge to support a great cause. Haifa Wehbe received the Instagram challenge from Cherine to join the campaign for the Lebanese Autism Society (LAS) on Monday, and, surprisingly, the sassy diva said yes! She even went on to spur fashion designer Ellie Saab to do the same.
The handbags and accessories atelier "Sarah's Bag" started the social media campaign, a la ice bucket challenge, earlier this month in an effort to create awareness and funds for autism disorders. According to The Daily Star Lebanon, those nominated on Instagram are either to participate in this year’s Beirut Marathon on Nov. 9th or donate as much cash as they can to LAS.
So...which one did Haifa choose? The crowd funding one, of course! We know she's got the means to do it, but busting her booty in a marathon? That's one hilarious scene we would like to see.
Remember when Haifa Wehbe also accepted the ice bucket challenge? Yeah, that was a riot too. We're not sure if she's doing it to draw attention to herself or good causes, but hopefully the societies have received a decent chunk of change from the starlet.
