Haifa stressed that Saed is the best candidate, because he shares many of the good qualities of his late father, which brought him admiration throughout the Arab world.

Wahbi recently sang for her fans in the Gaza Strip, -Palestine, broadcast live through the radio station Gaza FM, via satellite from a network based in Rome.

The song marks Haifa’s first live performance for her Palestinian fans, during which she spoke of , her dream of singing to them live in person.

Haifa stated that she feels obligated to present music that puts a smile on people’s faces, and that she “supports the Palestinian people every step of the way.”

Palestinians are using information and telecommunications technology to circumvent the physical barriers imposed by Israeli military occupation, and the music industry is wisely tapping into this resource.

The Palestinian radio announcer revealed to Haifa that the song “Rajab”, that she sang  is very popular in Palestine, often requested by her Gaza fans.
