Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi has officially announced her engagement to 29-year-old Saudi businessman Tareq al Jafali, after a love affair that lasted for several months.
The couple held a private engagement party, in which he presented her with a set of diamonds as an engagement present. It was also revealed that Tareq recently presented Haifa with a 2004 Porsche 2004, valued at 250 thousand US dollars.
Haifa publicly announced her engagement on her reality television program “Al Wadi” (The Ranch,) on which the singer raised her right hand to show her engagement ring to the participants and the audience.
Haifa is taking part in the Reality TV series “The Ranch,” which airs every Friday evening on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) this month.
The reality: A small house on a ranch, where a number of artists from around the Arab world will reside, under conditions meant to test their survival skills.
Haifa has been assigned as the ‘head of the household’ and must manage the minimum resources that she and the rest of the participants are given.
With no cellular phones, make-up artists, or limousines, it is sure to be survival of the fittest.
Haifa will eliminate the weakest contestant from “The Ranch” every episode and the show will last for 10 weeks, if the artists survive that long.
The participants will be faced with numerous challenges, including milking cows, feeding chickens, and tending the other animals on the ranch.
