Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi has denied rumors that she has married musician Ziad Al Rahbani.
The singer explained that this is not the first time this rumor has been circulated; the first time being on April 1, 2005, when the rumor was created as an April’s fools joke.
Haifa revealed that she is currently living a love story with an unknown man, and plans on making a serious commitment to him. Sources have revealed that in the next few days the singer will publicly announce her relationship to end the series of rumors that have been circulating about a secret marriage.
Haifa headed off to Rome, Italy after receiving a special invitation from the Italian Network Rai Uno to appear as a guest, marking the first time an Arab singer has appeared on the network. The singer also received a second invitation to appear as a guest, from the Italian network Rai Due.
Before going to Rome, Haifa participated in the Canne Film Festival along with a number of international stars, like fashion designer Roberto Cavali, who designed the dress she wore to the event, American model Naomi Campbell, Lebanese fashion designer Elli Saab, and Adriano Carmio.
