Haifa Wahbi to add an Egyptian touch to her music

Lebanese rising singer Haifa Wahbi has headed off to Cairo-Egypt to begin work sessions with a number of Egyptian poets and composers as part of her preparation for her upcoming album. The singer announced that her new album will include songs sung in the Egyptian dialect, a new experience for Haifa, in which she hopes will meet the satisfaction of her fans. 

 

According to the London based Elaph, Haifa did not specify when her new album will be ready, saying that she is intends on spending more efforts on it to make it better than the her previous album. 

 

Haifa held a spectacular performance at the Lido Stage in Paris that was marked with success by the large number of Arabs who attended coming from all around Europe especially for the event. Haifa was part of the Oriental Magic Festival, in which a number of Arab singers participated in like UAE singer Ahlam. 

 

The Lido festival is one of many festivals Haifa has taken part in this summer, adding tremendous success and increasing her popularity. Haifa had worn a splendid white dress made especially by internationally known Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad for the event. The singer has revealed that she will resume preparations for her upcoming album and is hopeful it will be as successful as her first. 

 

Recently and in an attempt to return to the spotlight, Lebanese artist Fadi Lebanon, Lebanese diva Sabah’s ex-husband, has announced that his comeback will be through an enormous new musical which he is currently working on and is waiting for the right producer to adopt his work. It was revealed that the name of Haifa has come up numerous times as she is to be nominated to take part in Fadi’s musical. The news of Haifa joining Fadi has not been confirmed, for Haifa has not given her acceptance to the matter so far.  

 

Haifa had denied circulating rumors that she is undergoing extensive lessons to improve her speech skill in order to become a TV announcer. The singer said that she had never took any such lessons and has no plans to enter the world of television broadcasting wanting to focus her attention on her music career. -Albawaba.com
