Producer Muhammad Al Sabki as refused to comment on sexy Lebanese singer Haifa Whabi’s decision to turn down the leading role in the film “Akher Kalam” (Last Talk), due to a dispute between the two over Haifa’s salary and the number of scenes that will include her in the film.
Al Sabki said Haifa has not made a final decision, and that here is no replacement to take her place. Haifa requested a month to finish her concerts and other affairs in order to look into the matter more closely, he said.
Al Sabki also said that filming will begin within a month.
Haifa was supposed to play the role of a young girl who loves singing and dreams of becoming a famous singer, yet her father doesn’t allow her to pursue her dream. Her father is afraid of the problems that people in show business face and most of all fearful that she would loose her family values.
The girl succeeds to accomplish her dream after her father passes. Potentially, Haifa will sing two different songs in the film. The first is romantic and the second is a duet with her co-star Ahmad Al Fishawi.
