Lebanese songstress Elissa's recent comments that she regrets singing the theme-song for the controversial drama 'Ma Sibq Al Israr' (With Prior Insistency) seem to have fallen on death ears as the show's lead actress Ghada Abdel Razek has refused to respond.

During her Ramadan appearance on 'Ana Wel Asal' (Me and the Honey), Elissa explained to the show's host Nishan that she didn't like using her voice on soundtracks. Razek is no doubt happy to have her own name attached to the show which has done wonders for her career.

The Egyptian star was recently commended for her performance by 'The National Centre for Law Awareness' in Cairo. In a speech the actress said that the programme was a milestone in her career.

She explained that after 13 years of acting in light dramas, the programme finally allowed her to showcase her real talent.

What did you think of Ghada Abdel Razek's role in 'Ma Sibq Al Israr'?
