Egyptian actress Ghada Adel fainted and was taken to a clinic nearby while she was a guest on the show “Al Hayah Helwa” (Life is Great). The broadcaster and actor Tareq Alam is the host for the show and it is aired on Egypt’s second channel during Ramadan.
The program tackles social issues where it takes real life cases of people who went through bad experiences and ending up with plastic surgery to make them feel confident and good about themselves.
Some of these people who agreed to be on the show went as far as trying to commit suicide and end their lives. The one case that had truly touched Ghada Adel was the story of a young and beautiful female who became a widow at a young age with two kids. Her beauty was the reason behind her misery. After her husband’s death young men from her neighborhood wanted her and some even came to ask for her hand. One crazy guy who was refused by the young woman went as far as putting sulfide acid on her her face and burned it.
According to the London daily Elaph, the program “El Hayah Helwa” wanted to adopt this young woman’s case and paid for 30 plastic surgeries in order to erase her scars and make her look beautiful again so she can live a normal life.
The actress Ghada Adel could not put up with what she saw; therefore, she fell on the floor and fainted. She was rushed to the nearest clinic.
