The much-beloved Syrian superstar George Wassouf is coming out of his shell and returning to stage in Egypt after a 15-year hiatus.
It's true! The "Sultan of Music" will perform in Cairo on 24 February.
The best-selling artist will hold a press conference two days before the concert to talk about its details and answer journalists' other questions.
George last performed in Egypt in Sharm el Sheikh in 2002.
Wassouf recently made headlines for bashing fellow Syrian star Assala, whom he said "is a whore and sings like a whore."
He went on to say that she has betrayed her country and was disabled before President Al Assad treated her in Russia.
Assala responded by saying that "I forgive him from the bottom of my heart. In fact, I wish him all the best."
