Egyptian actress Gala Fahmi is gearing up to shoot the series Al Farashat Tahtareq Daeman (Butterflies Burning Constantly), according to the UAE daily Al Bayan.
The series is about the life of the Egyptian actress Camilia and her relations with the king, British people, Jews and art.
To perform the character of Camilia, Fahmi sought the help of what had been written about her in the biographies of politicians and critics.
Because she is busy preparing for the new series, Fahmi sent her regrets for not accepting a chance to costar with Hussein Fahmi in the socially conscious series Al Nisaa Qadimoon (Women Are Coming), scripted by Atef Bshai and directed by Hassan Bashir.
Fahmi was nominated for the part played by Esaad Yunes in the first part of the series Ya Rijal Al Alam Ittahidu (Men of the World, Unite). Dalal Abdel Aziz was chosen to appear in the second part of the series - Albawaba.com
