The production company of the new television drama series “Lailat Al Ro’ya” (Vision Night) offered famous Egyptian actress Laila Elwi $5 million Egyptian Pounds for her role in the drama series.
This could mean that production companies will have to raise their salaries to compete.
Last year the highest salary for a role in a television drama series went to Egyptian actor Yahiya Al Fakharni. He was paid $4 million Egyptian Pounds.
