Local news sources revealed that Syrian actor Firas Ibrahim was robbed while he stopped to eat at a restaurant in Lebanon this week. But the plot thickened when they found out just how much cash the Assad loyalist had stashed in his car... 100,000 US dollars!
According to police reports, a group of anonymous individuals broke into Firas's car and stole the bag with the cash in it but several questions remain unanswered: why was the actor carrying around so much loose change? How did the gang know that the bag had money in it?
The thieves were driving a black Nissan Sani andn police are continuing to investigate and Firas's behalf. In the past the actor has hit out at satellite TV channels and other international news services for spreading 'misinformation' about the Syrian regime and has disappointed fans with his Assad loyalty.
