Scenarist Mohammad Rifat has offered Egyptian actors Muna Zaki and Ahmad Hilmi, who are married in real life, the leading roles in the new film “Sana Hilwa Ya Gameel” to be directed by Mohammad Ali, in his first directing experience. the couple were chosen because they were thought to be the perfect duo to play the roles in the film.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, the film revolves around a romantic story of two people who are madly in love with one another and their attempts to get married are faced with many obstacles. The main problem the couple face is a financial one leading the man to think of going abroad to try and find work. The woman then goes into a frenzy not wanting her true love to leave her side and so the couple decide to try and work things out and overcome all obstacles together.
Muna has denied circulating rumors that a dispute has erupted between her and Hanan Turk, who is considered to be her rivalry, over the role of Cinderella in the new film “Al Andaleeb”. Muna assured that neither her nor Hanan were nominated to portray the late actress Suad Husni, also known as the Cinderella, and the fact is a new actress will be given the role. On her part, Hanan stressed that she is tired of such rumors of constant disputes with Muna, assuring that she and Muna are very good friends and are looking for a film to join them together. –Albawaba.com
