The famous Egyptian dancer and actress Fifi Abdoh announced that she was badly treated by the producer of her previous drama series “Qamar” which was aired the Ramadan season before last.
She stated that the producer did not respect the fact that she put so much effort into her role and was dedicated to the. She said that she had spent all her time between the studios and the theater doing rehearsals for a play she was presenting back then.
During her press conference for the signature of her new television drama series “Tooq Najah”, which is expected to be aired this upcoming Ramadan season; Fifi said that she was absent from last year’s Ramadan drama because she did not find anything suitable for her to star in. She said that she had enjoyed her free time spending it with her family.
According to the London daily Elaph, as for the new drama series “Tooq Najah”, Fifi said that she was attracted to story of the drama series and that is why she agreed to star in it right away without giving it a second thought. Fifi revealed that she only read five episodes of the new series before signing the new contract but she has all the confidence in the writer of the series. She will be presenting a new role that she hadn’t played before.
The new series “Tooq Al Najah” stars Fifi Abdoh, Riyad Al Kholi, Fotooh Ahmad, Jamil Ismail and Khayreh Ahmad. The story of the new series is written by Husam Mousa and directed by Adel Koteb. As for the production it will be produced by “Panorama Drama” satellite channel and ‘Delta for Art Production.’
It is needless to say that Fifi just returned from “Omrah” (small pilgrimage to Mecca). She will start the filming of her new series as soon as she returns from her American and Italian trips, where she will be award at “belly dancing” schools there.
