Things had gotten ugly between Najwa Karam and Tony Anqah. The Lebanese diva kicked the guy heading her band to the curb, firing him after 20 years of working together.
While that may seem a bit harsh, we can kind of understand why. After returning downtrodden after a not so great performance at the Mawazine Festival, things went downhill quickly between the two.
According to Sayidaty.net, sources say that Tony began crossing the line of respect with Najwa, repeatedly using foul language, regardless of the fact that she treats him as family and not a colleague.
If he ever wants to work with her again, and we’re not sure that she’ll let him, he’ll know where she draws the line.
