Director Ismael Abdel Hafez will next week begin shooting a new series entitled Bint Min Shubra (A Girl From Shubra) based on a novel by the writer Fathi Ghanem.
The series will depict a love story between a Coptic girl and a young Muslim young.
The series explores the story of a girl who decides to reside permanently in Shubra, one of Cairo’s neighborhoods, and refuses to travel with her family to Italy. The girl falls in love with a oung Muslim man and faces many problems with her Coptic family.
Ismael Abel Hafez will begin shooting the new series after he wraps up shooting the series Al Barr Al Gharbi (The Western Land) costarring Farouq Al Fishawi, Raghda, Abla Kamel and Medhat Atallah - Albawaba.com
