Lebanese diva Fairouz will perform a concert on April 25, 2002 at the American University Theater in Dubai after she cancelled the concert scheduled for this month in Qatar, according to the London based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat.
Fairouz will leave for Dubai accompanied with the coral and a number of eastern music instrument players to be followed by Maestro Karen, manager of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra along with a number of Orchestra instruments’ players.
The return of Fairouz to the UAE to perform her next concert to be organized by an official agency has been confirmed, marking her second concert in Dubai after the first one she performed one year ago.
Meanwhile Fairouz cancelled the concert scheduled this month in Qatar due to the failure of reaching an agreement with the organizers of Doha Cultural Festival 2000 on the program details.
