The young Qatari singer Fahed Al Kibisi’s lastest album is a great success.
According to the London daily Elaph, Fahed said that he tries to send a message to his fans through his music.
The company “Platinum Records” announced that “Asilah” (Questions) accomplished high record-sales during the first week of its release.
“Platinum Records” signed a contract with Fahed at the last moment to distribute the new album, which it includes 11 songs.
Fahed worked with a number of well-known poets and composers on the album, like Awad Al Nafaa, Abdullah Al Manaie, Abdullah Al Asmari, Ahmad Elwi, Abdullah Jasem, Sarah Abdullah, and Mishal Al Arooj.
Fahed just filmed a video clip for the song “Asilah,” which holds the same title as the album, in Dubai under the supervision of the American company “Clips.” Fahed said that he worked with a foreign crew to produce a new and different vision.
The new clip will be aired on satellite channels at the end of May.
Fahed explained that “Asilah” (Questions) is about how each person wants to follow his or her dreams. The song was written by the Qatari poet Khaled Al Mahmoud and composed by Khaled Al Minaie, who supervised the making of the album.
Fahed has also produced his own album that he will give to the production company that makes him the most lucrative offer, he said.
His first album was produced and distributed by the production company ‘Rotana.’ He decided to switch to “Platinum Records,” stating that it will add to his music career.
