ALBAWABA - The primary development studio for GTA 6, Rockstar North in Edinburgh, was closed after suffering an explosion.
According to early reports, the explosion occurred in the boiler room inside the building. However, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported that the incident didn't cause any casualties.
The fire department told The Heard that they "were alerted at 5.02am on Monday, 19 January to attend an incident on Holyrood Road, Edinburgh."

It added, "Operations Control mobilized three fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene, where firefighters worked to secure structural damage at a commercial building."
IGN speculates that the building is still shut down, with several fans of GTA 6 taking to social media due to concerns over the game getting delayed again from its anticipated November 19 release date this year.
Recently, Rockstar Games made headlines after news circulated on social media that the popular game developer might grant a terminally ill fan with cancer early access to the long-awaited GTA 6.
The game studio recently found itself in hot water for laying off over 30 employees from its UK and Canada studios. Both Take-Two and Rockstar claimed that the fired employees were plotting to share confidential information in a public forum.
