Egyptian actress Eman Al Assi has finally ended her marital problems with husband Nabil Zanusi by getting a divorce. Eman had stopped all lawsuits she had filed in order to get the divorce finalized and without any problems.
The divorce was completed at a police station in the district of 6 October and Eman had appeared at the station with her lawyer. Eman had presented a handwritten statement saying that she no longer wishes to keep any of the lawsuits she previously filed against her husband, and in return he did the same.
The couple had gotten a divorce only 90 days after they were married. Eman had filed a lawsuit against her now x-husband accusing him of kidnapping her and locking her up in his home demanding that she gives up all her legal rights to her fortune and give it to him. The lawsuit that was filed also stated that Ahmad tortured Eman and did not give her food for almost one full week.
Ahmad denied all accusations against him and said he never kidnapped Eman and he would not force her to give her wealth to him because he is a successful and wealthy businessman and is no need of her fortune. Ahmad added that problems between him an Eman started over her wanting to act, a matter he refused since they discovered she was pregnant and he did not want to jeopardize her well being. The divorce despite all rumors was done peacefully and on good terms.
