Head of the Syrian Artists Union, director As’ad Eid, announced that there is no decree banning Lebanese singer Elissa from entering and performing in Syria.
According to the Internet website Al Sanara, As’ad added that all Arab stars are welcomed in Syria.
As’ad stressed that all rumors about banning Elissa are fabricated news by individuals who have nothing better to do. He also noted that all Syrians have great respect for Elissa and her art.
