The famous Lebanese artist decided to answer the rumors that have been spreading in the past short period about her suffering from a sickness that led her to gain weight. Elissa held a live performance at the “Siramis” hotel in Cairo with the artist Wael Jasar during the New Year’s celebration. Elissa was seen very upset behind the scenes of her concert, where she made sure to wear a dress that showed her figure not changing.
The press was spreading lies stating that Elissa had noticeably gained weight because she was taking “Cortizone” shots to lessen the pain in her spinal cord. It was also said that Elissa had insisted to be photographed from a distance in her album posters in order to hide her extra weight.
The weight rumor comes along a number of rumors that have been following Elissa for some time now. Many connect the weight with being tied down or engaged, but on her behalf, Elissa denied being tied to anyone emotionally.
