Prominent Egyptian actor Elham Shahin is furious with host of the Lebanese program "Khaleek Bil Bait" (Stay at Home), Zahi Wahbi for igniting the flames between her and actor Nadia Al Jundi.
Zahi prompted Nadia to make insulting remarks toward Elham while appearing as guest on his show.
According to the London based daily, Al Quds Al Arabi, Elham stressed that Zahi had put her in a very uncomfortable position by brining up old problems between her and Nadia. Their major dispute was over their leading roles in "Al Raghbeh" (Desire) two years ago and the award Nadia received for her role.
Elham announced to the press that Nadia attacked her just to attract attention.
Elham noted that Nadia only received four, and not five, awards for her role in "Alragbah" (Desire), stressing that she won the “most important” award for ‘best actress’ in the national festival of Egyptian cinema, causing Nadia’s anger and jealously.
Elham stated that she welcomes sharing a leading role with another actor, but the fact that Nadia refuses illuminates all possibilities.
