Egyptian stars collect 4 million Dirham for new children's hospital in Egypt

A number of Egyptian singers and actors collected a total of 4 million dirham during two charity concerts held in Dubai for the building of a new children's hospital for the treatment of cancer in Cairo Egypt. The first concert was held at the Intercontinental hotel in Dubai and the second at the Rotana Beach hotel in Abu Dhabi.  

 

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, the total cost to build the hospital is around 70 million US dollars. So far a total of 50 million US dollars has been collected over the past two years.  

 

The successful event included participations of important officials and businessmen from Egypt and the UAE in addition to Egyptian actors and singers like Laila Ilwi, Nour El Sherif, Mohammad Foad, Mahmoud Abdul Aziz, Elham Shaheen, Muna Abdul Ghani, Anoushka, Moroccan singer Rajaa Bilmaleeh, and TV announcer Tariq Alaam. –Albawaba.com
