Egyptian actresses Laila Olwi and Muna Zaki will meet in the film Hobb Al Banat (Girls' Love), which examines the female viewpoint on the troubles of modern romance, according to the Arabic daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
The film tackles the problems facing Egyptian women under today's difficult social circumstances, with a comic twist.
The film was scripted by Tamer Habib and directed by Amr Arafah, in his second work after the hit film Africano.
Shooting will begin next February after Hanan Turk, the film's third star, wraps up her role in her new film Haramiyah KG2 (KG 2 Robber) alongside Karin Abdel Aziz, reported the daily.
Turk also wants to be reassured by her fans' reaction to her role in the series Hadith Al Sabah Wa Al Masaa (Morning and Evening Speech), which is being aired this Ramadan, and will come back after she takes a rest from her long, hard shoots.
Four years ago, Olwi and Zaki met in the film Edhak, Al Sourah Tetlaa Hilwa (Smile, The Photo Will Be Nice) along with Ahmed Zaki - Albwaba.com
