After her debut in the TV series "Lil Adala Wujuh Katheera" (Justice Has Many Faces) last year, the young star Dunia Samir Ghanem will represent Egypt in the "Megahertz" festival in Turkey, but this time as a singer and not an actress.

The Egyptian daily, Al Akhbar reported today that the Opera House has chosen Dunia to perform "Al Hub Wal Salam" (Love and Peace) song, written by Majdi Kamel and composed by Hani Shnudeh, at the song festival to be held in Turkey next week. The song calls for love and peace between the world's nations.

Dunia, the daughter of comedy star Samir Ghanem and actress Dalal Abdul Aziz, has postponed the shooting of the last scenes she is working on with director Hani Lasheen in the new TV series "Zaman Emad Addine" (Emad Addine's Time).

In the series, Dunia plays the role of young singer Fardos, who gets the attention of all composers sparking the jealousy of singer Muneera Al Mahdiya, played by her mother Dala Abdul Aziz.

Last year, Dunia revealed her plan to release her first album, entitled "Fil Thanawiyah" (In Secondary School), but nothing is yet announced about the album. – Albwaba.com
