Who said divorcing your husband means you can't be friends anymore? Dolly Shahine certainly didn't!
Although the Lebanese diva said bye bye to matrimonial bliss with her hubby director Bakhous Elwan, that didn't stop her from keeping him as her business manager!
The ex-couple have not officially announced their separation, but Dolly released a statement saying, "To all my respected journalist friends, I ask of you to respect my family and I's privacy and personal life. Me not publicly announcing my separation from my husband, director Bakhous Elwan, is something that concerns me alone, and I think it is shameful for the press to make speculations and assumptions that have nothing to do with the truth”
According to Laha Magazine, Dolly added, “Bakhous and I agreed to divorce for personal reasons that we do not wish to disclose, and despite this fact he will remain as my business manager until I announce otherwise. There are no disputes between us on a professional level and we are friends and will remain connected by our daughter Nour forever.”
Dolly and Bakhous had been married for four years before suddenly getting divorced this month. But then again it was no surprise when Dolly posted a photo of the happy "family" - that's her, Bakhous and Nour - in celebration of his birthday along with the caption, "Happy birthday my love, Bakhous you are the best father, husband and friend. May God always keep you with Nour and I. May we be together every year."
That pretty much clears things up then... or not!
