Egyptian actress Dina Samir Ghanem’s, daughter of the famous Egyptian actors Samir Ghanem and Dalal Abed Al Aziz,  latest film “Shari’ 18” (18th Street) was not very successful.

Therefore, Dina has postponed agreeing to any new film offers until her upcoming new film “Capri” has been released.

According to the London daily Elaph, Dina stars in the new film alongside a number of well-known actors like Jomanah Murad, Fathi Abed Al Wahab, Ahmad Bidair, Edward, Mahmoud Al Jundi, Mai kasab, Majed Al Kidwani and Khaled Al Sawi.

In “Capri” Dina challenges her typical roles that have been innocent and romantic in previous films and television dramas.

The new film revolves around one night at a night club, where nine people discuss their private lives and their personal, social and economic problems.
“Capri” is written by Ahmad Abdullah and directed by Sameh Abed Al Aziz.

Dina, who had also entered the singing world three years ago, said that she is working on a new album, and has already finished recording four songs. She worked with the Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni, Tamer Ali and Wael Akid on the songs “Hob Min Ghair Amal” (Love with no hope) and “Ayni Ali” (My eyes Ali).
Her last album was called “Very Mix.”

Dina said that she aims to release meaningful songs that will be loved by her fans.

“I do not want to perform new songs just to stay in the spotlight, on the contrary, I want to perform songs that will stay in people minds for generations to come,” said Dina.
