Another fabricated news was shared online claiming that the singer lost "$125M in Brand Deals" after endorsing Harris. However, according to the Snopes website fact-check, the rumor began when a sarcastic website posted an article mocking Swift's endorsement of Kamala.
A satirical article about Taylor was posted by Esspots, which is a website that describes itself to be "dedicated to bringing you the latest and greatest in fake news and absurdity, all with a healthy dose of humor and satire," but then many believed it and began sharing the fake news claiming it was correct.
