Rising Lebanese singer Darine Hadchiti held a press conference in Beirut for the release her second album “Irtahlak Albi”(My Heart is Comfortable with You) by EMI productions.
During the conference, Darine spoke openly about her new album and her future ambitions in the music industry. Journalists described the rising star as “very down to earth,” responding to questions “freely.”
The singer said she does not expect to achieve great fame overnight, but rather wants to take it one step at a time.
Darine spoke about her first album “Udam El Kul” (In Front of Everyone), stating that she is proud of its success. The singer has her own unique style that is capturing the hearts of fans.
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram recently made remarks about Darine on a satellite television program, stating that she is pleased to hear people say that Darine is following in her footsteps and to be a “school for emerging singers.”
“If Nancy considerers herself as a school, then who is the principal?” Darine replied.
The music video for “Irtahlak Albi,” directed by Jan Habar from Lebanon, was screened at the end of the press conference. Filming of the clip lasted for three days on location in Australia.
Darine was recently in the United Arab Emirates to promote her latest album. She held press conferences and interviews in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. She met fans at Virgin Mega Stores and held an album signing ceremony in Dubai.
The critically acclaimed “Irtahlak Albi” has been described as a splendid album with rich content, and is expected to top the charts. The popular single “Amm Tethaly” was released back in March. A fantastic high-budget video for “Am Tethalli” created a commotion around Darine’s new album, and is one of the most requested clips this month.
