Dalia Al Buhairi refused to be Saddam Hussein’s wife

Egyptian actress Dalia Al Buhairi stated that she considers herself different from other actresses and never gets herself involved in disputes over roles and does not seek competition with others. She added that she may be jealous if another actress that may have presented a good role and hopes to present something similar.

 

According to the London based Elaph, recently, Dalia was held guest on the show ‘The Dictator’ with host Ibrahim Issa and had talked about when she won the title of Miss Egypt. Dalia stated that many of her friends feared that her new title would create a distance between and she would change her ways and friends, but the actress stressed that regardless of any title she may be given, she is who she is and would not ever change. She added that a woman’s beauty does not give one power and only gives self confidence.

 

Dalia revealed that she was recently offered a role to star in a new film about the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. Dalia stated that the role she was offered was to play the part of Saddam’s wife, but she strongly turned down the offer due to the fact that she did not feel confident about the script of the film or that it would add anything to her career.
