An Egyptian delinquency court approved to an appeal by Egyptian actress Jala Fahmi to cancel a primary one-year jail sentence against her. The actress was sentenced after writing bad checks, each for the amount of 15 thousand EGP, to Automisho Car Dealership as payments for a new car she bought.
According to the London based Elaph, the company had earlier filed a case against Jala accusing her of issuing bad checks, and the court released a s a one-year imprisonment with a 500 thousand EGP bail. At this point the actress rushed to appeal the verdict by reaching reconciliation with the car dealership and paying them back every penny she owed.
Jala who had recently returned to the scenes after announcing her resignation, starred in the new movie "Awal Marra Tihib Ya Albi" (The First Time My Heart Loves) alongside Tamer Abdul Min'em and Nourhan. The scrip of the film is written by Majeda Kheir and directed by Ala’ Kareem. Jala is currently considering taking part in the new film "Thalatha Fi Hadid" (Three in Iron), which is written and directed by Shaker Labib. The film had been postponed previously due to Jala's sudden decision to resign from the acting world, but will now continue in its production after her return. –Albawaba.com
