A court date set for Tamer Hosni

The famous Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosni is getting ready to appear in court for a lawsuit filed by Ala Al Shathili the deputy of the “Very Music” production company. Shathili is suing Hosni for at least 2 million Egyptian pounds for violation of the company’s copyrights.

 The famous superstar is accused of signing a contract with another music production company called “Melody” where he gave rights to some of the songs that were originally produced by “Very Music”.

 

He is also accused of giving his new company the right to air some of his musical video clips and using the music for cell phone tones without taking the time to even consult with company “Very Music”.  The courts had set the date March 17th to look into the lawsuit.
