The cold postpones Muna Zaki’s dreams

Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has come down with a severe cold that forced her to stay home until she is well. Muna’s doctors have recommended that she remains home and avoid any exhausting activities like filming the final scenes of her upcoming film “Ahlam Umrina” (Our Life’s Dreams). The film is scheduled for screening during the summer season and is expected to witness a fierce competition in the wave of summer movies.  

 

The film is written by scenarist Al Baih and directed by Othman Abu Laban, marking his first cinematic direction. Egyptian actor Mustafa Shaban and Ramiz Jalal are to costar alongside Muna, in addition to Egyptian young actress Muna Shalabi.  

 

Zaki had announced that her return to the small screen will be through a new drama series “Mubariat Zawjieh” (Spouses Race) after she was nominated for the leading role by director Anaam Mohammad Ali. Muna will play the role of “Nuha”, a journalist who attempts through her profession to understand the problems women face in their everyday life.  

 

Mustafa Shabaan will also costar alongside Muna playing the role of “Hussan” a photojournalist who accompanies her in her quest. The drama tackles problems social faced by married couples in their everyday life. –Albawaba.com
