A well-known Iraqi actress filed a lawsuit against the former Iraqi official Ali Hassan Al Majeed, known as Ali Al Kimawi (Chemical Ali) and who is currently being held captive by US military forces in Iraq, demanding a one million dollar in compensation for the damage caused to her reputation. Ali had distributed a pornographic CD that features scenes of the two of them in very intimate positions, reported the Saudi based daily, Al Watan.
The actress, who resides now in Damascus, was known to be Al Majeed’s mistress, and used to organize wild parties at his ranch in Al Dorah, one of Baghdad’s suburbs. The parties were all video taped so that Ali can enjoy watching them when he pleases.
The scandal forced the actress to leave Iraq after the CD was widely spread, and known amongst Iraqis of all ages.
On a different note, a Turkish pop singer Togba Ozai, was granted permission from the American forces in Iraq to film a music video clip in one of the presidential palaces of the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
